Three14 Architects
With my Honours and Masters Degree’s in Architecture complete, my formal career path in the Architectural industry began in 2008 alongside Kim Benatar as a co-founding partner and principal architect of award-winning firm Three14 Architects based in Cape Town, South Africa, and specialising in residential architecture.
After 10 years in professional practice, at the end of 2017, I made the decision to leave Three14 and begin a transition from Architecture, in its traditional sense – of space and place – towards a more fluid, entrepreneurial and multi-disciplinary design approach.
PRESENT
Multi- disciplinary Architecture
With time, and invaluable practice and experience, I finally understood Architecture as a way of thinking; a systematic approach to the creative process that can be applied to almost any industry or task.
Currently I’m building customised creative solutions for clients across different sectors.
Every project is unique, and, designed according to its brief, creative complexity, and timeframe.
The projects and solutions vary greatly – from longer term retained creative direction, consulting, strategic planning and execution, to brand architecture and identity, styling and creative direction of marketing & social media content, to collaboration with other professionals on concept design in space, architecture and interiors at different scales.
The overlaps in Architecture with other industries like Fashion, Technology, Media, Marketing & Branding, Photography & Filmmaking etc. allow me to continually stretch the perception of what it means to practice as a professional Architect in a changing world.
This approach is the multi-disciplinary practice of architecture & design and the foundation on which powerful ideas can be conceived, detailed, planned and built.

Crossing Creative Frontiers
As the creator and director of a Multi-disciplinary design studio the intention is to always ‘push boundaries’ – to remain agile, relevant and adaptable, and to continue to engage in future critical thinking and creative problem solving across as many different disciplines as possible.
My intention is to continually expand a powerhouse local and global network of select individuals and teams who collaborate at various levels to deliver across-the-board, out-of-the box solutions to any creative problem.
